Environment, wellbeing and healthy lifestyle 2009 Conference on 21st October at Moat House Hotel, Stoke-on-Trent

Conferences and Events in 2010
Transitioning to the Green Economy. IAIA's 30th Annual Meeting, 6-10th April 2010, Geneva, Switzerland. HIA Training Courses in 2009
1 Day HIA training course organised jointly by WMPHO and WHIASU for 9th July. The 1 day course in Birmingham, 9th July, is for those with little or no experience of HIA. This course can be taken as an introduction to the 3 day course running from September 29th to 1st October in Wales (see below). For details and prices for both courses click here.
3 Day HIA training course organised jointly by WMPHO and WHIASU for 29th September to 1st October. The 3 day course in Wales takes the learning from the 1 day course further to enable participants to do an HIA. For details and prices click here.
HIA 5-day training course run by IMPACT at the Foresight Centre, University of Liverpool, UK, 9th-13th November 2009. The Course is aimed at all those whose current and future work is likely to require an understanding of the theory and practice of HIA. For details click here.

Preliminary expressions of interest are being sought by WHO's Unit of Health In Other Sectors for a WHO Visiting Scholar on HIA. The position will be in Geneva for up to 6 months. Closing date 17th July. For more details click here.
