Local Health
Local Health is a programme which aims to improve the availability and accessibility of health and health-related information in England.
Local Health gives you access to interactive maps and reports at Ward, Middle Super Output Area (MSOA), local authority, and any user defined combination of these geographies. You can see the areas on a map to help with selection. (MSOAs are small "neighbourhood" size areas).
Reports produced in Local Health allow you to compare any selected area to the England average for a selection of indicators.
The newly updated Joint Strategic Needs Assessment dataset is now available in the Local Health mapping tool.

Full instructions and indicator details are available from the Local Health site.
All comments on this version are welcomed. Please complete our survey or, alternatively send comments to healthprofiles@sepho.nhs.uk
Local Health will be regularly updated with new and updated indicator data.
Further information about the Middle Layer Super Output Area geography can be found on the ONS geography webpages.
