Sub Regional Development Frameworks (SRDF) are intended to provide a convenient step between broad policies of the regional plan (the London Plan) and their more local implementation through the plans and actions of the 33 London boroughs, There are 5 SRDFs for London.
This Project carried out between September 2004 and November 2005 involved the pilot application of Integrated Impact Assessment (IIA) to these frameworks. The report describes both how the pilot Integrated Impact Assessment process worked and conclusions on the quality of the SRDFs.
