Description:
A rapid Mental Well-being Impact Assessment was undertaken on the South Manchester Healthy Living Network (SMHLN)which aims to improve the health of disadvantaged communities and individuals in South Manchester. There are 3 projects within the scheme: voluinteering, a community food project, and a community health development project. Recommendations from the MWIA were: increasing availablity of the SMHLN to other population groups; increase partnership working to encourage more referrals; and issues relating to buildings and transport.
