The Association of Public Health Observatories was commissioned by the Chief Medical Officer to produce a series of reports presenting indicators of public health for the English Regions. Below are the reports commissioned so far:

APHO continues to publish its series of Indications of Public Health in the English Regions reports for the Chief Medical Officer on the state of public health in each of the English regions. To date, these reports have helped steer health policy thinking and action on ethnicity and health; child health; sexual health; mental health; alcohol and older people. We have two further publications in the pipeline, on substance misuse and communicable disease
