Health Profile 2012 Indicators
The Health Profiles present 32 indicators at local authority level within England. The criteria for choosing the indicators included:
- Important impact on the health of the population
- Support for local authorities, NHS and partner agencies information needs
- Is valid, measuring what it purports to measure
- Is primarily based on existing indicators
- Is available for all local authorities in England
- Is amenable to meaningful comparison over time, place, person
- Is relevant for a wide audience
