Health Profiles Interactive

Health Profiles Interactive Maps allows you to select any of the 32 Health Profile indicators and local authority areas for comparison and create maps and graphs which you can export for use in your own documents.

The interactive maps have been produced at the three geography levels of the Health Profiles:

Green Interactive Maps - District level (including all unitary authorities)
Purple Interactive Maps - County level (including all unitary authorities)
Blue Interactive Maps - Regional level (Strategic Health Authorities)

Adobe Flash Player version 10 is required for interactive maps. You can download and install Flash player free from Adobe's Flash install page.

Single map atlases with spine chart

Select your local authority area to present the indicator values for each of the 32 indicators within the spine chart. Up to ten local authority areas can be selected for comparison within the spinechart. Select these areas on the map while holding down the Ctrl button.

Select an indicator from the dropdown menu in the ‘data’ button to create a map of this indicator for England and a graph of indicator values for all areas in England.

District Level Atlas

The District Level interactive atlas is created for the 32 indicators at the level of lower tier local authorities. Included in this District level atlas are London Boroughs, Unitary Authorities and Metropolitan Council Districts.

County Level Atlas

The County Level interactive atlas is created for the 32 indicators at the level of upper tier local authorities. Included in this County level atlas are London Boroughs, Unitary Authorities and Metropolitan Council Districts.

Regional Level Atlas

The Regional Level interactive atlas is created for the 32 indicators by Government Office Region. The South East Government Office Region has been split into the two Strategic Health Authorities (SHA's).

Double map atlases to compare indicators

Select two indicators from the dropdown menus in the ‘data’ buttons to create maps of these indicators and a graph showing the strength of the relationship between them.

District Level Double Atlas

The District Level double interactive atlas allows comparisons for the 32 indicators at the level of lower tier local authorities. Included in this District level atlas are London Boroughs, Unitary Authorities and Metropolitan Council Districts.

County Level Double Atlas

The County Level double interactive atlas allows comparisons for the 32 indicators at the level of upper tier local authorities. Included in this County level atlas are London Boroughs, Unitary Authorities and Metropolitan Council Districts.
